Summer Bishil is an American actress who is best known for her performance as Margo Hanson in the Syfy Fantasy drama The Magicians (2015-present). Her prior role as Lebanese American teenage girl Jasira who is undergoing a series of personal struggles with the backdrop to the U.S. war in Iraq was part of Alan Ball's feature film Towelhead. She was chosen by Variety as one of the 10 actors to watch. She was in 2009 when she portrayed the strong Taslima in the film Crossing Over. She was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead in the film. She also acted as a co-lead and in movies like Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake, and in several TV guest roles.
